Roland-Rainer Research Grant 2008: „Criteria for sustainable urban living“

Competition
The competition’s theme „Criteria for sustainable urban living” calls on graduate architects and architectural researchers to submit an interdisciplinary and applicable evaluation system for residential architecture. The originator of the best scientific approach wins the 10.000.- Euro grant to finalize his/her idea. The competition is issued by the city of Vienna and the Bundeskammer der Architekten und Ingenieurkonsulenten.

Assignment
A lot of information can be used for the assessment of residential architecture projects. This data however is only manageable if it is integrated into evaluation systems. The aim of this competition is to create a significant evaluation system, capturing important attributes of sustainable residential buildings and allowing an integral assessment of domestic architecture.

Applicants must register themselves by writing a formless email to evelyn.stampfer@arching.at before May 22nd 2008, 1 p.m.
