SEAD – Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance is a training center for contemporary dancers and choreographers. Linked to the professional training company, SEAD is a production and event location for contemporary dance and performance art. The dance academy and its international students enrich the cultural offerings of the city of Salzburg with numerous events, in-house productions, guest events and guest performances. Today, 100 students from more than 30 countries around the world attend the academy’s various training programs. SEAD is also the „home base“ and production site of the internationally touring dance company BODHI PROJECT.

SEAD is looking for an employee with motivation and passion for contemporary dance who will support our team in the area of ​​academy and course programs.

The activity covers the following areas

• Close collaboration with management, course program coordinator and production manager
• Contact person and organizational talent for students and lecturers
• Overview and implementation of annual plans and their necessary organizational services, as well as methods and content
• Academy courses
• Support in the area of ​​marketing and promotion for the academy
• Close collaboration with the academy administrator
• Coordination of exchange programs and other academy projects
• Opportunity to develop into a guest lecturer

requirements

• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English, knowledge of German is an advantage
• Training or experience in administration and back office
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a team and work independently
• Good IT-Skills
• You enjoy working in an international team and can identify with the values ​​and demands of an artistic dance and training company
• You never lose your sense of humor and handle stressful situations confidently
