RED NOSES International (RNI) is an artistic and humanitarian organization that connects with diverse groups of audiences through the art of clowning. We work with children in hospitals, children and youth with disabilities, individuals in crisis situations, and senior citizens. Our headquarters, located in Vienna, coordinates 11 RED NOSES organizations across Europe and the Middle East, and is responsible for our global outreach efforts.

Position summary

We are seeking maternity cover (01.2025 – 03. 2026, with the possibility for extension to an unlimited contract after good performance) for the role of International Project Manager to join our Programme Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in grant writing, particularly for EU Programmes like Creative Europe, Horizon, and Erasmus+, as well as other national and international funders, including foundations. This role also involves leading the management of international projects, ensuring smooth collaboration with partners and adherence to project goals.

Your tasks

  • Develop and write high-quality grant applications in collaboration with international partners.
  • Oversee the implementation of successful projects, including financial and narrative reporting, evaluations, and compliance with grant requirements.
  • Coordinate project and partner activities, ensuring effective communication and delivery of outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with programme managers in RED NOSES partner organizations to facilitate project success.
  • Build and nurture relationships with donors and external stakeholders to enhance funding opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure that all projects meet RNI’s quality standards and donor expectations.

Profile

  • Proven experience in managing international grant-funded projects, particularly EU Programmes (Creative Europe, Horizon, Erasmus+).
  • Strong grant writing and proposal development skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail in financial and narrative reporting.
  • Strong communication and networking abilities.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work across diverse international teams.
  • Experience with donor communication and relationship management.
  • Availability to travel internationally as required by the role.
  • Willingness to be vaccinated (especially COVID)

The minimum wage for this position is EUR 40.600,- gross per annum (for 38.50 hours per week).
