Geshoutete Brachialität trifft eingängige clean Vocals, Melodien treffen auf Breakdowns und werden eingebettet in die signifikanten Synth-Elemente, die man als Markenzeichender der Vier bezeichnen könnte. Live überzeugen WE BLAME THE EMPIRE durch eine energetische und mitreißende Live Show, die sie schon bei einigen Festivalshows wie am Novarock oder als Supportact von Bands wie Caliban, Fit for an Autopsy oder auch Annisokay unter Beweis stellen konnten. Bereits ihr Debütalbum „These Waves won’t take me“ brachte ihnen eine breite Fanbase. Ihr zweites Album „Aero“ wurde für den AMADEUS AUSTRIAN MUSIC AWARD in der Kategorie Hard’n’Heavy nominiert. Für Herbst 2023 hat die Band eine neue EP angekündigt.

A NEW CHAPTER
An Austrian metalcore band that is renowned for their groovy riffs, catchy choruses, and hard-hitting breakdowns. The band started in 2018 with the releases of their two singles, ‚Come To Me‘ and ‚Lured‘, and since then have been playing live on various stages and festivals, gaining a large fanbase. In 2019, they released their EP ‚Myself//Nevermore‘ featuring their singles ‚Nevermore‘ and ‚Sleepless Nights‘. Following a break due to the coronavirus pandemic, they made a triumphant return with the stand-alone single ‚Mirage‘, and the best is yet to come.

Honest, earthy and brutally dynamic, the guys set themselves apart from smoothly polished high-brow productions. But how does the whole thing sound now?
